A message to all Physicians

Thanks to the Internet, physicians have a great opportunity to reach the general population with our own message.   Our message must be that health care is available, it is affordable, and we in the USA, because of freedom, have the best health care in the world. 
 		 It will require locally based, grassroots efforts to demonstrate these solutions.

Our message is often buried in the myriad of insurance, tax, employment and political issues that crowd in on the medical profession. 
 

Nationwide there are some excellent free market solutions that will obtain the laudable goals of health care affordability and universal access .......
 

..... while maintaining our most valuable key to excellent medicine:  the physician-patient relationship.  
 

A message to North Carolina Physicians

We are looking for other physicians who will welcome cash directly from their patients and share the savings in time & money. 
Our plan is to reach out to those who live in the cash paying economy:   those with high deductible insurance, no insurance due to high cost, no insurance due to medical reasons, the uninsured by choice, and those who wish to purchase our medical services outside their networks.  
We are simply offering our medical services at preferred rates when the patients pay at the time of service and do not require involvement of third party payers. 
 
Your membership is valuable to you because:
You get a reduction in administrative costs
You can ethically advertise your practice to the uninsured.

We wish to demonstrate to North Carolina law makers that citizens and physicians working together have working  solutions for health care, both for routine access and catastrophic situations.  
We are working toward loosening the legislative restraints on the private health insurance market in NC.  For this we need to demonstrate that managed care is not the only answer -- not the best answer. 
At the same time we are educating the public as to the benefits of direct cash payments and high deductible insurance.   We hope to restore the market supply and demand for high deductible insurance and medical savings accounts.  See Triangle Medsaver membership goals for the public
