* "Catch-up for older account holders: Account holders aged 55 and up may make additional contributions of $600 in 2005, increasing by $100 each year until it reaches $1,000 in 2009.

NOTE:  The maximum contributions and the catch up for citizens >55 years are based on the number of months of the year in which they are eligible.  (i.e. if you begin a qualifying HDI in July, you can contribute only 6/12ths of the maximum).
